I am struggling to remember what I have learnt?
Hi all, I need your advice, again. I have finished the html course (which was great!), but I am struggling to remember how to put it all into practise. I have OCD and need to make notes as I go along. Any pearls of wisdom for me, please? Thanks, Jayne 🐱

Download Notepad++ is free and try practicing what you have learned. Then run it on a browser like Chrome to see your results.Remember practices makes perfection.

Notes are OK but try doing code snippets on an editor and seeing the result on a browser. Make small web pages to put the theory into practice.

Most important thing is that you write code: small and easy and gradually more complex projects you assign to yourself.
You'll understand best what you do with your own hands, and it's less likely you forget what you use on a regular basis.
If you want to prevent forgetting systematically without using unnecessarily much time, a good repetition schedule can help - at least it's helping me.
This is what I have to say about the topic:

Thanks Michelle, and Hon Fu. Hon Fu, I will look at those links. Although I have finished HTML fundamentals, I need to do the last task: updating my blog and publishing it! Always great advice on here. Jayne 🐱

best way to remember is to practise, u don't need to memorise and forget all after some time. practise what u learnt and it will be memorised automatically.

Sorry Mirielle, I know it is. No excuses, but it's a combination of tablet correcting what it thinks is right and that I am blind in my right eye! But will check closely before posting. Jayne 🐱

Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice.....

Thank you 😊. I do worry thinking I should memorise! I remember the theory better than the practical and that's the problem.
