How can I leave space between lines for the identation, I cant do it

I read that with tab and four spaces the program makes it automatically after the two points ¨:¨ but I cant please help

It depends on the environment you write your code in.

If for example you write your code in a regular text editor, it won't know Python's indentation rules.

Don't rely too much on these things, it doesn't matter. Just hit enter, then tab!
