What challenges do you encounter as a self taught coder/programmer?

I teach myself to code primarily through Sololearn and I encounter so many challenges. This is because I have an 8-5 job that I depend on.

My challenges are that I don't know what questions to ask, and struggle to understand the answers I get. 😁

Long working hours are the norm for many of us, think of coding after work as a way of life, not a challenge.

There is too much information and sometimes you don't know where to start.

I think I side with Rik Wittkopp on his first sentence. Online communication is a BIG issue for me - I never needed to use social media when I was little so I never did.
I also never really knew anything about programming till I started college. Plus, I don't "think like a programmer" at all! I think like a grammarian (one with very little training).
As for work, I quit so I could focus on college.
