Why getting no points for answers if challenge expires

Question

When i play a challenge i get points for the right answers as well as for winning the challenge, i.e. if i win. Now i am wondering why i get no points for my answers when a challenge expires. In both cases these points do not depend on the answers of my opponent. At least, it is not my fault that the challenged expired.

Perhaps you should pass that question to SoloLearn.

@Cron Do not be worried, you'll get those points when those questions will be answered by you in other challenges and you won't get those points twice. After you'll have dealed with every questions there no more XP just for answering them. (Sorry for my English here)

@Michelle As far as i can see (from the report a the end of a challenge), points are indeed split between aswering points and winning points, that would mean i am indeed getting points for participation. or am i wrong ?
