Best place to learn JS and svg and best D3 book?

That's the game ;)

... and that's the beauty of internet: you could easily find a bunch of ressources (all the more for topics related to computer/coding ^^), and you complete each by each others (nobody's perfect => tutos are done by people => no tuto's perfect :P)
Don't forget also that one could fit to me, but not fit to you :).

My basis reference for JS and SVG (as well as HTML/CSS) is mdn (Mozilla Developers Network):

But I advice you to do a search trough google (or any search engine) with "mdn" + targeted topic keywords ;)

Sometimes we search for things much more rare...
The pleasure is as much great when you ends by finding / understanding what you want ^^
(edit: some topics are much more complex, and requires many reads, if not many years, to be fully acquired and make you able to say: EURÊKA!)
