My approach-
First finish the python tutorial on codesdope.com
It has some practice problems which you will be able to solve after codesdope tutorials.
Then you can go to hackerrank and start solving problems there.
In this way,you can learn python.

But only read a book if you have such a habit

i suggest you to learn some basics on w3schools
And then move to a website Edabit it has easy,hard,very hard,
Problems to solve .
