Can someone explain the logic behind solving any pattern question?

From what I have learned, I'm able to solve some basic patterns but when it comes to some bigger patterns it is a difficult task. Thanks for helping !

You will need pencil and paper for solving any problems(pattern as well)

Now try to draw the pattern in your paper and try to observe the pattern nicely.

A pattern problems always have something to do with row and column.
