Another problem in installing jdk

Question

I cannot find the app even after downloading and installing the app. I only find the java mission control app. Moreover in the mission control app it says no local JVMs could be found. What to do about this? Somebody please answer this question.

Open the console and type: javac
what does it say?

JDK doesn't shown in Start.
check your program files folder(both x86 & normal if you have 64 bit os).
if there is a folder named JDK x.x.xx(represents version number) inside Java folder exists, then your jdk installation is successful.
