How possible without html and body, paragrapg appeard?

in code playground I try to write my some code I face a interesting issue! generally HTML code run in HTML tags and that's shows only if body tag completed.but in code play ground first lesson I write <p>paragraph</p> and click run(they said in lesson) it's appear as paragraph output. how is it possible.

Because all Html interpeters ( viewers/browsers ) are friendly, as Html is friendly because permissive: not valid code is supposed be trying to be anyway parsed, displayed as best possible, so incorrect code is corrected as it was possible, often simply adding missing parts, as global html document structure... Sometimes, the correction isn't enough implicite to be guessed by the html engine, and unattented behavior can occurs :P
