Why bad codes are trending more nowadays in SoloLearn code playground section?

I am witnessing more and more poor codes trending nowadays, most of them are posted by same group of people, even comments in such posts are from the same type of people, it seems like it is coordinated and planned by group of people, and most of them are from India ... Am I right? Or it is just a wrong impression that I am getting ... ?

You are absolutely right ,I remember seeing a simple just printing some stuff code(and people were commenting on it like it was something absolutely great), a month ago that got thousands of views and 70 likes and many dislikes as well ,no wonder ,since then I rarely check others code now and focus on learning and making better things

That is what should least matter, in sololearn it is about learning not about rankings

It could be a coincidence but..Yeah! There have been many poorly written codes. Some of them are just printing products of numbers , some are printing "Hello World" and so on. And yeah you are right they get likes for no reason. And oh boy do the upvotes increase if the avatar is a girl. But they could be absolute beginners who just want to show their little achievements.

Focus on learning instead of dying for followers and likes like you do in rest of the apps. Fool this is not for your time waste like Facebook and Instagram. They have provided such a good lessons with certificate too for free. Least people have remained nowadays for helping unconditionally!

Emanuel Maliaño if you say it is all about learning, then you just proved OP’s point good codes (where people can learn something) should be more accessible and therefore deserve to be on the top

Some users have a lot of followers -> a lot of followers likes the code and often without checking this code. And it is a beginner app. A lot of beginners writes a lot of poor code. The more you learn the more you realize that most codes are poor. The trick is to find the users which write good codes where you can learn from.

whistleblower? idk but it probably is just a lot of people trying to learn code at the same time, and are trying to make their own codes, even if they are slightly beginner to some people. It is probably just a coincidence that many of them are from the same country or have a nickname that has to do with india.

IMO if you have strong evidence that a game is on play within the Code Playground, then you can head to the moderator team's desk to file a report 👉 https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/524028/?ref=app Mind that mentioning (or rather pointing at) one's nationality or race in an accusation-like move is a serious and sensitive matter.

No matter how many challenges you win to bring you even to level 15 will not help you as a programmer on a real job. You must learn how to troubleshoot your computer code that has errors with the compilers or Interpreter you are using when executing you code! Fellow programmers will not do your job!

Alfa Use the search bar and look for technical terms such as "Fourier Transform" or "Deadlock" and I promise you will find some good code.

This is because on doesn't really understand the concept of the coding. Example people forget to use punctuations

There is no shortcuts to becoming a good programmer. You must spend time in learning the computer programming language, writing your own code, not copying someone else code and learn how to debug your computer program. Lots of practice will make you a better programmer. This advice may not apply to you but applies to many wamt-to-be programmers today!
