Yes. The reason is the flexibility of the language. With a low level language with binary executables it provides better handling when serving the AI model in production. With that and OOPs principles C++ makes itself a viable choice for an AI program with performance. Infact most of the deep learning and machine learning libraries are written in C/ C++ and provides APIs for the same and wrapper for other languages.
