How is content protected on streaming services.

What precautions are taken to stop users from screen recording or screenshotting shows or movies on streaming services. If there are how does it work and how is it included into the content.

It isn't protected at all. In fact it isn't possible to protect content online. You just can make it a bit harder to copy content. If you can see it you can copy it.
