How do I make the input box dynamic so it auto adjust or expand to text inputted

I want the field of the input box to collapse even empty and to expand to fit the text put into it

Say I have an input option where the user is supposed to enter their first name, but while the box is empty, it should take close up, but the moment it is focused, it expands to accommodate the texts being keyed into it
