Hi Coders. What is the difference between Java and JavaScript? And I would like to know what is a scripting language?

It would be great a great help if you get back to me.

It is important to note that JavaScript has almost nothing to do with the programming language named Java. The similar name was inspired by marketing considerations rather than good judgment. When JavaScript was being introduced, the Java language was being heavily marketed and was gaining popularity. Someone thought it was a good idea to try to ride along on this success. Now we are stuck with the name.

Well..., Java is a Programming language used to create apps and games, JavaScript is a web scripting language that can be used of the front-end and back-end of the web, and also JavaScript can be used to create WebApps, side by side with HTML(used to define the structure and elements of the page (Hypertext Markup Lamguage)) and CSS(used to specify thevstyling and overall "look" of the page(Cascading StyleSheets) ) , also, A scripting language is a language that is used on the web just like PHP(Hypertext PreProcessor), to add behaviour and other stuff to the page, a Script on the other hand is a set of detailed instructions that is translated into code, which is used on the web, Javascript is the default scripting language of HTML, there are others like Typescript. You can look up more about scripts and JS on the internet, hope you enjoy JavaScript, it's quite fun and powerful, if you want to use Java, that's your choice, just lnow that Java and JavaScript are completely different languages.keep coding 👋...
