Recently, I have learned the html course. I am wondering how could I create a website and share it to my friend? The html website that i have created with notepad can only be visited by using my own computer. If I want to create an actual public website, do I have to spend money for it?

You can actually use a free hosting service like one offered by "hostinger.com" to use it make your website public with their own custom domain name for your website.
