Why can we not just use normal words?

Why do we have to put in all the waky symbols and numbers❓😵

otherwise, you someone would have to code something really complex so others can just type instead

We can. The name is ruby. It's more human readable than java. There are also other languages like forth which use words. The problem is. It's not a good idea to use words in place of symbols. It will take longer to type + will need more screen space to see all the code in one place. How about maths? Would you like to write the numbers in words? Or algrebic formula in words? X^2+2ab+b^2/c Vs X square plus 2 multipled a multipled by b plus b square divide by c Or 22200022 Vs twenty two million two hundred thousand twenty two Here's a deep read on the subject: https://www.jsoftware.com/papers/tot.htm Hope you understand the reason for using symbols instead of words. Try ruby for a more pleasant experience it will not be s intense compared to java. But, difficult in a few aspects give or take. * Ruby course https://www.sololearn.com/learn/Ruby/2700/
