User input for table of functions

Question

My professor wants us to print a table of values from x=-2 to x=3 for f(x)=5x-9. Then he wants us to ask the user for a start and stop for x-values for the same function and I don't know what to after asking for the start and stop values. Can someone explain please?

I ended up using a for loop for it. Sorry for the late reply. It worked for me I just feel like it could be a little cleaner looking.
