How fast do you code?, Is speed relevant?.
What is your average speed coding, roughly how many lines of code can you pump out per day, and is speed very important. Should I even bother about it, I would really like to know. Thanks in advance for telling me your viewpoint on this. P.s I think I might be somewhat slow, any tips on this.

How many lines of code isn't a good measurement.
A better measurement would be how many problems solved or parts of a program completed.
You should create a list of all the task you need to do, pick a few and aim to finish them.
Some tasks may take 1,000 lines while others may take 100 lines.
Also, don't forget that it's often quality over quantity. An efficient and maintainable piece of code is greater than a lot of slow, spaghetti code.
P.S. Nowadays my average is about 100 lines per coding day. Most of the time is spent on optimization and thinking of better ways to solve problems.

Speed is irrelevant when the outcome of your project outweighs the amount of time you spent into the code, provided you submit before a given deadline.
If you re-read the above statement again, you'll find that there's actually a catch. Speed does matter only if a deadline exist, wherein most cases, do.

Speed doesn't matter. what matters is that the code works and turns out to be what you wanted.

I am such fast
I can code a code that prints "Hello World"
in just 30 sec
Damn......

Speed is never an issue, unless as Hatsy Rei said, a deadline exists. Actually , if you are regular at coding , your speed will automatically increase.

Or even Zen of python
10 secs

slow, I'll show you slow! As I stick out my turtle neck to look left and right. Just to find a string of Noddles hanging above me. I snap, and snap, but I the defenceless turtle neck have decided to give the knot, the knot!

in my opinion, if you know what you want to do and you're good on it, you'll finish you work pretty quick, after getting used of coding of course, that's what matters, at least for me.

Speed really doesn't matter if you can get some good codes irrespective of the time you invested.

I usually program 1 000 lines in one day. Would be more if I don't have hobbies and school. That's when bugs are removed.

how fast do we code is not important but how much logic do we implement in it to reduce code is important..
