Java or java script?

hello, any body plz guide me which I learn first java or java script? what is the variation between those? I am move forward both in a little. but, I don't know which one use for which thing? I have some HTML knowledge.

If you have HTML knowledge and you want to persue web designing , then go for javascript .
If you want to go for programming games, android apps etc. then go for java.

NOTE:- HTML + CSS + JAVASCRIPT are best languages to learn web - based designing , gaming , coding etc.

Simple terms. Javascript is used for the Web so if you know some HTML then learn CSS and Javascript as they all compliment eachother.

If you want to program other things, then go for Java, (like Android applications etc)
