How long do i need to learn Java?

Question

I startet 2 days ago, i knoe already how steing works, if else, what int double and so on are and so on, lets say i know the basics, how long do it takes to learn the program so good that you can program Apps, Games and so on with it.
I feel like i would be on the beginning of a tunnel, i see light from the entrance but not from the end of the tunnel, i dont know how much is there to learn for the program. Sry my english ist a bit bad.

it is not a matter of time. if you enjoy it, you can learn java and improve it without worrying about the time. the passion, persistence and patient will give you a way to achieve your goal.

heh, that's a loaded question. depends on how much time you devote to it, how quickly you grasp the concepts etc. id say a lifetime anyways because there's always more to learn. java is an OOP by design so i wouldn't say you have the basics yet, even by saying you understand String and int, double because in most application we use string as an object, and int/double as primitive data (except if you use Integer instead) so those aren't even the same data types (object vs non object)

It's a tough question actually as how much time it would take to learn Java.
Let's be direct to you it's an endless process, and if you are asking for a pro level it takes years of learning.

As found in a scientific survey it takes around 10000 hrs of practice to be the best at something which means 10 years of practising it everyday.
