What do you think of pair programming? Have you already done it and how can that team work better for more productivity?

I want to start a Python project with my friend and then in JS. But I don't know if it will be productive because I like coding alone but just for fun.

So what can you suggest me❓

I think programming with friends is better, but I have no experience with it because I have no friends😂
