Is learning App Inventor necessary ?

I was programming on windows for 4 years but I want to switch to android programming and I read that at first I should learn app Inventor but I think it is so basic . Should I learn it ?

I think MIT app inventor is useful for non programmars.

You could got lot of limitations in your app, block coding is not real coding.

For brief explanation, I would like to refer a meme that was specifically triggered for WordPress.

*Saying that app inventor is necessary is like, Using a wheelchair even if your legs still can do the better job*

App Inventor is a tool that allows you to quickly create an Android app, but there are some downsides:
1) The app UI will look like it was developed in 2012
2) There are a lot of limitations of what you can do with it: widgets you can use are limited and the code is written only using blocks (drag and drop visual programming).
3) The app will have a large size.

(Some of this info actually may be outdated because I have not used AppInventor for about 2 years)
