Difference Between old C Langs & C# as applied to BIOS and Hardware coding.

which is better focus on C then C# or go straight to C# this is from a hardware engineering standpoint. specifically BIOS Ext and IC coding E & RE. Which path will get me understanding C enough to engineer hardware code. If your not a hardware programmer please don't answer.

I'm not an hardware programmer, but I give you my answer anyway: for BIOS kind of programming, OOP is not the most adapted way, as you should often deal with memory space limitations... still for now ^^ : so, I think it's better to focus on C :P

Ignore last part did not re edit my question right. Amendment (Cut out last part replace with) Pascal understanding is important for hardware programming as well or no? thanks for responses
