I want help to install Hadoop

Question

Actually am trying to install hadoop on my system i have configured all files core .xml ,hdfs,mapred .....
When am typing hdfs namenode -format commands it showing error
Invalid hadoop yarn home

I'll be clear, I've never used hadoop, so don't expect me to be right.

I saw the comment:
"The environment variables changed in Hadoop 3. Try again with actually using Hadoop 2.7.3 or find another tutorial (such as the official Apache one)"
Using Hadoop 2.7.3 seemed to work for the OP.

So make sure you're using the correct version of Hadoop, or using the correct env variables for the correct version.

Sorry if I'm not of help. I only mentioned what I found from a quick web search, which I'm guessing you've akready done.

I have installed hadoop-3.2.1 before it was working properly but my computer was hanging beacz in virtual machine i have allocated 2gb ram now i have allocated 4gb and am again trying to install it showing error
