A single Deep Learning Neural Network AI is meant to only work in one environment. IE you would not try and train one DL AI how to play Mario Bros and Tetris, unless you have like killer memory.

...And Deep Learning is a sub-category of Neural Networks (and thus AI).

Machine Learning and particularly Deep Learning AI is good at finding mathematical patterns/rules for a certain environment given a large set of questions and human-generated answers. Then it can apply those mathematical patterns/rules to new questions.
