Is it okay to learn data structure and algorithm using JavaScript?

Question

I have tried to cover some of the topics using C language but i find it very hard to implement the algorithm using C language, as JavaScript is used in web development process , will it be the right choice?

Beginn with JS and after with C.
In my opinion algorithms matter as they present solutions for common problems. Same for DS.

You see..different opinions.
You must find your own way. Struggle, revise decisions...
and finally find your own style.
