Okay, no problem if you have started Python , it's not a big problem. Complete python , it may possible that your intrest go to other feild while learning Python. So, keep learning if think that you wanna be web developer then continue CSS and JS ,and even js will be more easy after learning Python. Conclusion: It's not a big problem, you can continue with Python! :D and if you decided for web then don't think that learning Python was wasted , you can also use python for back-end in web development. python has many libraries like Flask, Django, bottle etc.

Divyesh Ranwa My advice is to complete Python for beginners right now. If you find Python interesting, go for it. Else, start with the CSS course. After that, you may start the Javascript course. Here's something I'd love to share regarding the 10th grade matter. Even my parents are persuading me to quit this and focus on science/math/history/*. I loathe school, but there's nothing else I can do other than to do what they say. So, I code whenever they aren't around me. The thing is that I can't live without my daily dosage of pleasure, which I get from coding. My advice would be to study enough (just to convince "them" and to "secure your future" [I don't know why I'd need to mug-up all the different types of hydro-carbon structure organizations just to get a good job as a coder. It's a problem with the education system, I guess.]). Never quit doing what you like, as life's all about finding "the right mix of feelings and sensations". That's all I have to say regarding this matter. And good luck!

First of all, By "Developer", what exactly you mean? Web developer? Android developer? Backend? Frontend? Full stack? It completely depends on an individual what to be. You said you learned HTML, so if you are interested in web designing/developing go with CSS and JS. If you wanna build Android apps go with Java or kotlin, If you want to build ios apps go with swift. You can also learn dart + flutter to build cross platform apps like one code will run on both android and ios. Python is used for data science, machine learning, deep learning etc. So, It basically is upto you what you want to build.

Your parents aren't wrong, I think 10th is crucial year so you don't wanna score bad and get admission in some shitty college, right? Complete your academic work and then practice web development as you want to. HTML you learned here is not complete, There are lots of things in HTML And CSS. I'll suggest you to learn html and css together and drop python if you wanna go with web. You can check code section here and see how beautiful codes they write using html and css. And JS is like cherry on cake. Html css will make your code beautiful and JS will make it interactive. So, start with HTML CSS and when you think you have good grip on it, move to JS.

Divyesh Ranwa I'd like to add my two pennies to Anurag Saikia 's explanation. As you know, a large portion of the stuff learnt in school is useless (at least for me). I've been learning history for nearly four years, but I don't know anything about it right now; I'm not interested, nor do I care. I don't do anything which doesn't make me happy or doesn't improve the present mental situation in the immediate or the distant future. For now, I'm mugging-up school stuff because I don't want to be a "socially illiterate person", according to the irrational community around. I want a job, and I don't want to disappoint my parents. I still code though, as I can't promise any more of my present pleasure just for the future. So, you don't need to study every time; make sure that you find time to make yourself happy. If I were to be the next Boris Johnson, I'd abolish this crappy education system before feeding the poor. All the best!

I understand that there are so many languages and options in this field, I went through same, couldn't decide what to master. You are just in 10th. Try everything web, android, backend everything and then figure out which of the following you enjoy the most? Which is best suited for you? I don't quite understand your reply though.

There isn't a problem with the path you're taking at all! Most colleges don't really teach CSS anyway, in part because it's the dirty work of decorating HTML text. Unless you're a graphics designer with an itch for a bit of the finesse you can get with the customization CSS allows, you probably won't ever have to touch the stuff. There's tools out there that allow easy styling without the need to mess with CSS code. If you want to work on the front end of web development, Javascript is a must. It automates pages on the client side of a website, allowing neat things like pop ups, notifications, asynchronous web actions, various computations, etc, all within a client's web browser. I highly recommend you start on that course as soon as you're done with Python. The key take away here though, is take it slow, and don't worry, you can learn it all in any order.
