Is c++ good for starting competitive programming

I just got out from high school and interested in competitive programming so is c++ to start with btw I learned python and SQL already

Sandesh Verma one thing about this is that competitive programming just relies entirely on the language most programmers would prefer to work with in the competition, so point of advice check those entities providing competitive programming activities and see if C++ is highly competed upon. If yes, then learn it, if not, well you know the answer

Python is also a great language for competitive pro..ggramming
And c++ is highly recommended pro lang for competitive proggramming Because for its standard template Library(STL)
