Java is a coding language. There are loads of different ones such as Ruby and Python. Java is a really good one for graphic design, web design and games. Basically, Java is slightly different, like our languages. We're saying the same things but in different ways. So in Python you say print("hello") to print hello, but in Java its slightly different, and different again for Ruby. Java has been taught to understand certain words we use in programming.
