Which tag is correct?

In the html some tags hasn't closing tags , closing tags and staring tag have 1 different that is slash"/"
Otherwise same characters .

Yes there are many tags that don't have closing tags. For eg., break tag <br>, link tag when you want to embedded any link in your code <link>
