IT/CYBERSECURITY APPRENTICESHIP

hey guys I am starting a IT/cybersecurity apprenticeship next week for the winter semester. Any tips? maybe on taking notes or how to put my mind into a code I create on my own? I have zero experience but am very interested in the ethical hacker side of coding, next semester I would be learning C++ for my first class, I am in desperate need of guidance, I have ADHD if that helps find a solution to being an ace player. Other than that, I am very interested in the opportunity.
