Good way to start out with Ruby?

I think Ruby is an interesting language to learn but it's difficult to get an understanding of it from just taking this course on Sololearn. I would need some advice on how to get started with writing some real code. what is a good way to do that? Are there easy to understand books or hands on websites that you can recommend to me. I am learning C++ right now but only at the beginning phase.

Maybe follow a pdf - book from 1st page to last page and take on all the examples????
