I always wanted to be a game dev so I started with Java to make minecraft plugins and make a server like hypixel, then I gave up on Java because I wasn’t understanding what’s going on, went to python, made out of the beginners course and returned to Java, gave up again and a few months later I understood more in programming and went to C++ Decided to make a game using a game engine like Unreal but decided on unity. Year later,Unity prefers C# than C++ Should I resume on C++ and sync it to C# or learn C#?

You seem to be going about it all wrong.
Plus once you start something you need to see it through, you can't keep giving up.
You need a Goal and a Plan.
Start out small. You seem overwhelmed.
You took a long break so maybe your interest has changed.
Are you still interested in modding Minecraft?
If so you stick with Java.
If your interest has shifted then what platform do you want to publish your game?
That will determine what language to put your focus on. Don't be fickle. If so you'll never decided and a year later you'll be right back to square one. Deciding what you want to do.

I shifted from unreal to unity mostly because of the friendlier interface, so i had to make the switch from ++ to #. Honestly its up to you. Unreal’s engine can be more of a challenge, but its proccessing power makes it a tiny bit worth it. Unity is great for new devs, but cant take as much of a hit that Unreal can.

Learn the language first. Then use it as a tool for whatever framework you wish. Books are best.
