wanting to code something like Vlookup in excel to Java

For example if I search up a name I want it to show the ID number. I have a longer list so Vlookup is not as effective so I want to code something equivalent to that in Java but don't know where to start..

Use multiple worksheets.

Start with the Java course, or maybe python...
I'm sure they run through ways to access data from files ;)
