Add in the form tag:

<form onsubmit="myapp();">

And change the js code to:

function myapp(){
var x=document.getElementById("ok").value;
if(x=="ok"){
alert("hello");
}
else if(x=="how") {
alert("else if");
}
else {
alert("else");
}
}
