How to create Video games as a beginner? Game dev. Challenge. Help

A CEO challenged two groups of beginners in tech to build a good video game for a price, within 5months.
What are the necessary things to do to achieve this goal? Where do they start, like languages to learn, frameworks,IDE etc?

Well firsr what type of game u wanna make.... Web based Game(only on a web browser)
Native games (for Android and other operating systems)

Well for web games... U can use JavaScript with html
.. learn the game development with is course on solo learn... Should be elaborate enpugh

As for native games... Use engines to create them for better efficiency... Use unity engine ( meaning you'd have to learn advanced JavaScript and unity script)... Or use unreal engine ( you can use without scripting or coding but learn c++ to unlock it's full potential)

Quite frankly... Five months is too short to create a native game ... Well maybe except you have a very large scale experience team
