If someone follows somebody, do they expect to be followed back?

As, I seem to have gotten followers with 100's of followers, and they are following 100's of people as well.

When I follow someone I don't expect to be followed back, I just want to be followed if they like my codes or answers, not as a favor.
When someone follow me I usually check their profile and only if I like what they do I follow them back.

well i dnt know about rest of the peoples but i follow those people either they are good in something like in coding or challenges etc . or they are having outstanding skills.
so it's not like go with the flow judge yourself if person is truely deserving then go ahead follow them ^_^

Long time ago, there was a legend where when you follow MrCoder, he will follow you back, but not now when he knew there was a limit to following people :P

he was doing challenges with the spammer, the spammer losing. I think he is farming xp, which suggests to me he was the spammer.

I see the default blue Google silhouette. I saw someones profile pic be different in a screenshot so I think it's some odd problem with my app.

@Ahri Then what do you see now in my profile picture? Dayve and luka saw teemo. I had teemo skin for 2 days in my profile picture. Now luka doesn't like teemo anymore. :'(
