If you ever met your Programming hero

Who is your programming hero? Anyone living or dead. And, what would you say to him/her if you got a chance to meet them? Mine is Linus Torvalds and no wonder, if I met him , I would be the luckiest man in the earth. Maybe I would have no other words than Thank you sir! My other heroes are Dennis Ritchie, Guido Van Rossum , Alan Turing😊 I respect all those mentioned and non-mentioned heroes who made this world a better place to live. Eager to hear yours!

i agree with you @Sailesh Programming Hero ? nothing better than Linus Torvalds He create a foundation to make free and usefull OS which is needed by many programmer all over the world. if he never invented Linux kernel, the development of programming will be slow. The world need a hackable OS to satisfy their need on desktop, server, supercomputer, mobile, IoT, and many more. Linux is the solution that developed by great engineers and programmers around the globe.(refer to the long list of distro) if i meet him, i will simply buy him a good coffee because he care more to his computer than people surround him (king of geek).

what you are using, probably is due to Richard Stallman and the free software foundation. The os is GNU, Linux is only the kernel.
