How to learn or good practice about JavaScript?

I'm new in JavaScript programing. I want learn basic to advance. are there any suggestions for me from expert hand?

Learn the basics, all framework and libraries out there like jQuery, angular, node js, etc are upon JavaScript, so it is recommended to be familiar first with the core of JavaScript.

Give a try to the course here but also play a little and do some code, there's no better way to understand than practicing.
