It is a bit more complex and detailed than other languages but is still very powerful. Common programs like Microsoft Word use it.

If u need to understand what programming is then all the answers are given by C++ .
It something you to need to start with to underatnd the basic concept used in programming.
Its like Alphabets which are used to make word , sentences etc.
same goes for c++ u understand what programming is.
then after c++ may be java or some other language will help you to advance and become a professional programmer.
