Someone explain the alt part please in details?

The alt attribute is used to provide a description of what can be seen in the picture. This description is not shown unless the picture fails to load for whatever reason.

The alt attribute provides alternative information for an image if a user for some reason cannot view it (because of slow connection, an error in the src attribute, or if the user uses a screen reader).
