How important is cgpa for a cse student ?

I know it sounds very common, but I would really appreciate answers from experienced people. I have copied all my assignments throughout my undergrad cse time. But I have somehow maintained a very good cgpa. Although I have less practical skills, will my high cpga going to help me in any way ?

I have the same question, but from a different perspective. I excel in every programming-related test, assignment but suck at everything else, hence more likely to earn a low CGPA. If I have practical skills, but my CGPA hit the dirt, will I get a job? D:

Your cgpa will mostly matter if you want internship in some company. It will put you into the process of getting work experience, but not necesarilly get you a job.

With a degree you should have no issue getting employment. Your cgpa is only going to impact an advanced placement job. If you can show proficiency and pass the interview process that should be your only hurdle. Cgpa isn't going to impact much.
