Which CMS to use

Question

A friend of mine asked me to overwork his simple website, so that he can have more functionality. I like to use a CMS, but aren't sure yet, which would fit best. My tendency goes towards wordpress, but what would you suggest me?

Wordpress is a pretty good choice for such task, you can stick to it. It has a lot of free plugins if you need an additional functionality and its database is simple to work with.
