How we compare different languages in our posts?
Often here in SoloLearn discussion I read about language comparison like: is better Java or Javascript? or is better c# or swift? or who is the most diffused (or requested) language to learn? Well, I know when you approach to learn coding may be some confusion but I cannot understand why many people ask in this forum without trying to learn almost a chapter of one language (yes, here in SoloLearn) or without looking in google what you can do with a certain language (environment, application, etc.). tl;dr - There's no 'better than the other' or 'best' programming language. It's all user preferences since each programming language has their pros and cons.

[...] And I cannot understand how can we answer to these questions without asking for a clear interpretation of the sentence..
But I'm here not pretending a rule for the forum but asking to pay more attention when posting questions..
I read about a very good SoloLearn Forum guide, giving rules to discuss, but before this I ask to be a real coder before learning a language: be curious, think smart, look forward and read (and understand) good code..
What do you think? Could I be wrong? And why?
Thank you for your answers!

each language has its merits and demerits. They were not created to compete or replace another. And regardless of the language used the final outcome depends on the knowledge and logic of the programmer for whom a language is just a tool to bring his or her ideas to life

@Dayve
Sorry I write English with a bit difficulty..
But my question is exactly this: why don't you try to learn a language (focusing on that for a while) and after try to ask for questions? I'm sure it would be more educational..

the comparison of programming languange is in how and where to using it. its not question anymore. for example:the combinations of html,css,sql and javascript will made a good website or good web applications. but all the four i mention have different way of use.
html is for make a website template, css for rendering and coloring, sql for managing databases, and javascript for make website better in mobility. (sorry my english is bad)

because SoloLearn only support for basic studies,
and for me this applications is only for fun.
Relearn my old course, learn new language that i hate before, challenging our self with other, etc.
i'm actually not from computer science at university. but i struggling in java for 3 years.
and i dont call my self as programmer yet. lol

@Taufik
you're right but you are not a novice.. Try imagine to start from the beginning.. I'm sure with your academic background you would not fall in this error (asking for something you don't know) but probably you would start learning the basics (for this SoloLearn is perfect!) and after that you would ask for more info you could find there..
Finally let me say you are a coder.. :)
