Java or Python? if I want to learn one of those which one you prefer?

I want to be very good at on one of those and use it as my programming weapon. Help me to choose.

Learn both :)

These languages come from different worlds and require different mindsets. Python is elegant and funny, Java is all serious and bulletproof. IMHO it worth peeking at both of them to the very least.

yes, python is a simple lang to learn.. but sometimes it can be very very hard to understand the code written in python compared to java code.. for example, in python you can create a list which contains another lists, numbers, strings, sets and even dictionaries.. it's totally crazy.. especially if you came to python after java or c# 😊

java is easy language but we have to write more lines than python. in Bangladesh java is good for job sector. if you want to research or do heavey scientific work then python is best. I always fetch difficulty when I want to import a package in python. in java the name of the packages is realistic.
