Problems setting up xamarin, there any other way?

nearly everyday it has problems with the mono develop, and xamarin on visual studio is too large

Whenever I try to create xamarin.forms app I am not able to select the Android checkbox the Android checkbox is just disabled. Since the last update this is happening. I also not able to create eto.forms app.
