One account for one device.
I have recently tested the flaw of the Solo Learn program security and managed to create 3 fake accounts to perform likes and challenges. Unfortunately it works perfectly with 3 different accounts on the same mobile device. This is definitely the flaw of the system and needs to be fixed. So I reported this matter to solo learn and advice them to change the rules to one account for one device to at least reduce the probability of these fake accounts to be created. What do you guys think?

I have setup my account on four devices that I'm using separately like my smartphone, two different tablets and my laptop. This is done to keep me busy on my way, but also to avoid a flat battery. I don't carry my 7 and or my 10 inch tablets everywhere I go so installing SoloLearn on my smartphone was a smart thing to do.
But I agree, you could take advantage of creating fake accounts. However, the only ones they cheat are cheating them selves.

Your are doing great testing on Sololearn 👍👍👍

Thanks for your feedbacks. My main concern is not about the XP but about the overall purpose of the program security. I have seen many apps have only one account for one device and at least they tried to fix this small issues. Why solo learn cannot do that? that is just only the way I see it and every single flaw should be tested and reported so that solo learn can keep improving their system.

@Manual I'd assume the issue could be that the junk accounts cause extra traffic to the servers¿? (Speculating at this point, to whether or not it would make a difference)

It's a good idea. I support you.

I don't think it's that big of a deal, since xp earned is mostly based on difference in xp for the language. (So repeating this process won't get you very far after a dozen or so challenges in each language). Then again if SoloLearn can stop something might as well.
I am seriously confused if someone cares that much about xp, but if this is really a problem, I'd vote they just make it minimum level x to do challenges and post here.
x could be 3 or 2, whatever works.

I like @Rrestoring faith Think it is not a big deal.
I feel that having more than one account is a waste of time.
I meanwhat do you get?
A badge?
Some exp?
The point of sololearn it to learn programming.
Just because you have and extra account does not mean you will become a better programmer.
It would be more constructive to make programs and project than make another account.

How does having extra accounts affect SLs security?

The moment you create fake accounts to generate benefits to your main account, This is considered part of the security flaw. And many organisations are trying very hard to fix this matters but until now there is no good solutions. Only by implementing one account for one device then at least can try to reduce the probability of those fake accounts to be created. Thanks man for your insights

Soooo, what if I sell my phone?
The next person could only use my account (of which I wouldnt give to them)🤔

Stupid.
This learning app turned into a f*cking game where now we got cheaters.
What is the interest and the purpose of creating multiple accounts HERE?! On Facebook to spam, scam, spy nobody cares, but it's such freak to do that HERE!
I think people doing that will stop when they will understand that it's SoloLearn here, an app to LEARN coding basics, not their social networks, games etc. retards playground!!
Consider revising security...

@Ang
You said security. Not cheating.
Flawed Security, refers is vunerablity in a system.
A weak point that allows hackers malware and other things, to tamper with or harm a system.
I do not think the extra accounts are causing that, well not now at least.

What if a device is shared between two persons? I don't this is a security issue. Blocking multliple accounts on one device is not going to stop people cheatting.

@manual What caused people to cheat? because they found flaws in the system that allow them to cheat. Isn't that security matters? We don't only care about hackers but also cheaters. Those are risks
Yes I completely understand your perspective of security. Most probably we just have different views on what it calls security. In my organisation, risks are part of the security flaw that need to be reported and managed. No matter how small it is. Prevention from the early age is needed before it caused big impact in the future even we don't see it's happening now.

I appreciate your feedbacks and comments. it really gives a good insights in this matter. Thanks man.

I want throw some idea in this thread for fun,
feel free add some eaxamples of what people can do with this vunerablilty in the system.

They could complie or run viruses to attack other sites from the playground.

Have enough accounts to botnet the sololearn server.

@Ang
No problem, I had a good time.
