The whole concept of challenging someone is not right. If you wish to test your knowledge write programs without any help or reference. you will make mistake then debug your code to fix those mistakes. Challenging someone and winning it only serves your ego. On the contrary if you loose it can make you feel worthless or insecure about your own logical thinking, problem solving and programming capabilities which need not be true since everyone is good at certain type of logical problems.
You might be good at doing all sorts of things with strings, your challenger or challenged person might be good at doing all sorts of trickery with numbers. Should you feel bad if you are not good with other stuff? certainly not and sure you can always improve
You are learning programming for yourself for enhancing your own logical thinking and problem solving abilities, not to show someone else. Remember real world programming is very different than what you do at sololearn or another place.
It's better to solidify your concepts, improve your logical thinking and thus problem solving abilities and learn to make best use of language features.
The other problem with challenging is how do you know the other person is not cheating. There is tons of all sorts of code available on the net. I think the focus becomes more on winning the challenge rather than following best of practices to improve your coding and problem solving skills.

it makes me question my own existence and whether I'm worth to be considered a fully human being.
