You can start learning any beginner course online at Udemy, Lynda etc. sites. These are really helpful and the tutors make sure you understand the concepts very well. Just follow along. Best of Luck!

A book many suggest: Head First Java. Compared to other books it uses very easy to understand texts and examples. Not everything in it is 100% correct, as it concentrates on giving a rough idea instead of explaining every single aspect of everything. But it's great for beginners and learning the basic things Java can do.
