Hey guys, what would you say is the best language for an absolute newbie to learn?

I'm still basically a newborn at coding, and I literally just signed up for this app. That being said, could you guys point me to a versatile, powerful, but easy to learn (or just easy to learn language?

Start off with learning python as it is very easy to grasp and yet powerful in the applications it is used. Then try your hands on some object-oriented programming language like C++/JAVA. Also you should know some scripting languages like server-side PHP and/or client side Javascript.
